Big Red' will get raady to meet a familiar foe, as next up is the Bengals of Cleveland Benedicine.

Big Red has defeated the Bengals the last two years by the scores of 28-17 and 32-28.

This season the Bengals, featuring Mr. Ohio candidate Jerome Baker, have defeated Normandy (62-13), Ursuline (27-6), Holy Name (45-7), Watterson (34-24), Padua Franciscan (28-14), Chardon NDCL (55-16), Lake Catholic (29-15), Walsh Jesuit (26-7), Hoban (35-7), Perry (24-20), Mooney (56-16), and Bay (35-7). The lone loss was to Bedford (12-27).

Columbus Beechcroft Cougars, Friday, November 21st, 2014, 7:30 pm, @ Zanesville's Sulsberger Stadium.

Big Red takes Region 13 again.

Big Red knocked off another Columbus City League Champion as the Red dropped Beechcroft by the score of 29-21 to win the school's 15th Regional title.

Big Red started slow by giving up a TD after a muffed punt after holding the Cougars to a 3 and out.

From there is was all Big Red as QB Dimitri Collaros fired 3 TD passes and Johnny Blue added another on the ground, as the Red built a comfortable lead, and then relied on the defense to hang on for the victory.
